Adele Schulz RN
I am so glad to be coming on board to Mary-Beth’s team and look forward to working with you all!
I’m a Hudson Valley native and live in Kerhonkson, NY with my husband and newborn son. I earned my nursing degree from SUNY Ulster in 2008 and immediately went to work in home care (I had worked for years in nursing homes and was passionate about helping seniors stay in their own homes for as long as possible). Through one of my home care patients I was fortunate to make a connection with Dr. Michael Schachter who had a thriving Complementary and Alternative medical practice for 40 years, treating patients of all backgrounds but came to specialize in cancer and cardiovascular disease. I joined his office in 2011 where I worked as an IV nurse administering various nutrient therapies (primarily high-dose Vitamin C, chelation and glutathione) and also did some patient education through presentations and consultations.
In 2017 I joined the staff at Bock Integrative Medicine in Red Hook, NY working under Dr. Kenneth Bock and Somer DelSignore, NP. Their practice focus included the treatment of Lyme Disease, PANS/PANDAS and autism spectrum disorders. I had the opportunity to further my IV experience with IVIG and ozone therapy. Additionally, I provided one-on-one health coaching for patients who needed particular nutrition and lifestyle guidance, and helped to reinforce the protocols/care plans set up by the clinical team.
As a licensed RN I will be available to help with IV's, as well as working remote to assist Mary-Beth in the clinical aspects of your care. Please allow for a learning curve as I understand the finer points of working in Lyme disease and understanding Mary-Beth's practice and I look forward to being of service to you all.
